There May Be Times in Your Life When You Feel Completely Spent, But These are vulnerability Issues!

There are times when you may feel as though you are so totally “spent” that you have no more tokens to spend for more ‘quick goals…

But the fact is that as long as you DO continue to seek to progress to greater glory in Christ, you will continue to encounter challenges to increase your discipleship.

Hence, the phrase “Perseverance is the key to overcoming” (Excerpt from author’s book…will repent)

Perseverance simply means ” Keeping awake”.

But what does it mean in the context of our subject at this particular moment?

For the person who is still asleep, it simply means that they are aware of the bad dream they just had, but are as unaware of the situation as possible.

For the spiritually awake person, it means that their awareness has been heightened by their time in the Word – that way they are more aware of the lies they have believed in, the things they have done etc.

The overall message here is that our human default consciousness only has a very limited supply, and as a result, when faced with a situation where all is running on overload, it is the job of the Holy Spirit to bring that extra bit of truth to our attention so that we can overcome the situation.

Imagine that a clock stops, but you don’t have the watch for changing it!

Imagine that the alarm doesn’t go off, but you are still awake!

Sometimes situations are so overwhelming that if you are aware enough to seek to identify the correct next step to take in your thoughts, you may find yourself stopping KNIVES—because you may be in the midst of a situation that is running you completely nuts!

That certainly doesn’t mean that solutions aren’t available to you. It does mean that StopPickingOn Me or else nothing will change.

More often than not, it means that you have simply neglected to be aware of where you stand.

In such cases, the next logical step to take may be to quickly and easily forgive yourself or, as is often the case, yourself and others.

Taking responsibility does not mean that you will no longer take responsibility for your own actions or decisions-it means that you will be willing to accept responsibility for the correct steps of others.

By doing this, you will not be placing blame on someone else-it is that very attribute that is decrepit of all human beings.

By accepting responsibility, you will be able to take appropriate actions and know that they are coming from the best place.

That best place is Yours, and it lies in your heart, the place that is divine and owned by the Living, Loving God whom you have the indwelling of.

This is the part where you must be somewhat prepared for the insane amount of love and wrath you are going to experience if you are not prepared to treat yourself, your life, with even more incredible love and devotion.

Allow me to break this down for you in terms of God’s Laws.

One of God’s Laws is that no matter how awful a person can be to one person or all people, God keeps the scales fairly evened out in all situations. Why? BecauseFull adherence to God’s Law is man’s free will, or as the Bible says, His yoke is light but inelastic, no matter how many men may want to disagree, God allows no for argument.

Therefore, whatever you may hear about the wrath of God, or a stuffy judgment from man, just know that the wrath is yet to pass and that eventually, every unsaved person that does not accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior will be sweating drops of merciful, loving rain that comes out of heaven and totally clouds over their head, in the same way, that those people plants and trees expend their precious green leaves while attending to their own emptiness in this life, only to have a complete change of consciousness upon continuing in Jesus Christ.

There is a close analogy here in that there is actually no danger involved for those who are members of the unsaved. Simply because they are members of another fellowship, that’s all God asks of any of His Children-a hearts full of unconditional love and obedient faith in who and what they are in Christ.

Furthermore, please hear that when you feel that God is after you, your response must be, “I welcomed him when he came, and I welcomed him by faith into my heart, NOW, I am standing on the grace of God because…
